730. Start your exploration of this beautiful country as you visit Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage situated on the outskirts of Nairobi. The Sanctuary is run by Daphne Sheldrick and is set in the grounds of her house. Here you will see the orphaned animals and meet the people who handle and care for these animals. It’s an interesting excursion and the team who run the orphanage are always willing to spend time answering any questions guests may have to ask.Later you will proceed to the Tamabo restaurant for lunch, then visit a nature center run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife. An elevated observation walkway allows you to get face to face with 18-foot-tall Rothschild’s giraffes. 0700hrs. After breakfast, you will depart for the Masai Mara National Game Reserve with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for some photo taking before proceed with the drive through the Rift Valley to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Loyk Luxury Mara Camp. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive till dusk when you return to your camp.

The Maasai Mara is arguably Kenya’s most popular game reserve. It is most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film “Out of Africa” was made to a great extend in this sanctuary. There is a profusion of all types of wildlife including the big five. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and the gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara river to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The game reserve abounds with birdlife since close to about 452 odd species have been recorded.

0800hrs. After your breakfast, you will depart for the whole day game drive in the vast Masai Mara National Game Reserve with picnic lunch being served in the wild. In between, at an extra cost, you will visit a local Masai village where you will be able to interact and learn more about the colorful culture of this nomadic pastoralist community.

If your budget will permit, you can also opt to swop the early morning game drive for a Hot-air Balloon excursion, a really unforgettable hour spent drifting over the plains of the Mara just as the sun tentatively peeks over the horizon.  Your flight will be followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush on touch-down.

After breakfast, you will depart for the Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for check in and a late lunch at the Naivasha Simba Resort. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for boat ride on the lake and a visit if the Crescent Island Park. The Park where you walk with the Animals!

They are not fenced to allow the wildlife on the mainland to come in as they lose their habitat to development and the ever-increasing population. Hippo graze all over us at night then sleep under the acacia or rest in the water by day. The giraffe who were born on the Island return to give birth; sometimes you see three generations at a time. Hyena come to hunt at night but are not resident on the island, the many python who do live here can be seen occasionally with a kill. Groups of Buffalo come and go but they are always monitored

0700hrs. After you’re your breakfast, you will depart for the Amboseli National Park via Nairobi to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Zebra Plains Camp, Amboseli. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive until dusk when you return to your camp.

Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa’s highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals.
