Early breakfast & start off your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal Town, offering you stunning views of the tea estates, the Rwenzori Mountains & photo opportunity at the Equator & the Queen’s Pavilion. Upon arrival check into your lodge for lunch and enjoy stay at leisure with an evening game drive.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in Western Uganda bordering DRC. It is the second largest and one of Uganda’s most varied protected areas and it is strategically located in the Albertine Rift valley at the foot of the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains between lakes Edward and George.

Early morning you will depart to Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth NP where visitors can climb through tropical forest and catch a glimpse of a variety of primates, including chimpanzee, black-and-white colobus Vervet and olive baboons in the gorge. Less visible residents include red-tailed monkey and the giant forest hog. For birdwatchers a good range of forest birds are present.
After lunch go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Cruise Kazinga Channel so as to see various wild animals as they come down to water and cool off. By engaging in this activity expect:

Early in the morning after breakfast check out of your lodge, enjoy your scenic drive through the rolling hills of Ntungamo and Kabale to Bwindi. Upon arrival you will check into your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore optional activities.

Early in the morning after breakfast, take part in the days main activity; Gorilla tracking comprised of over 346 bird species, 400 plant species, 202 butterfly species, 163 tree species and the most astonishing scenic views.
Gorilla tracking is a captivating and unforgettable experience which gives you a chance to visit one of the habituated gorilla families; Kindly note that Gorilla tracking can be challenging and one needs to be reasonably fit before venturing into the activity.
Briefing starts at 08:00 am with the main activity starting exactly 08:30 am lasting for an hour or more depending on where the gorillas were left previously.
Later on after tracking, you will return to the lodge and have your lunch at leisure.

Journey time: 8 - 9 Hrs
Early in the morning you will start your journey back to Kampala stopping over in Mbarara for a COVID-19 Test (at own cost) and lunch thereafter. Another quick stopover will be at the Equator for a photo session and demonstrations.
Expect to arrive back in the city in the early evening and check into your pre-arranged hotel in Kampala

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight. If you have an evening flight, then we can have a half day city tour of Kampala or decide to relax for the rest of the day
